Help shape the space.

On September 13th, Out Of Space Festival touches down at Stormkop — an eclectic celebration of sound and space. We’re calling on a crew of curious minds and hands to shape the festival together. You’ll experience the festival from a whole new perspective — up close, involved, and very much essential. You’re welcome to join for build-up, the festival, the breakdown or everything.

No specific skills are required — just curiosity, an honest intention and a willingness to join the purpose.

Out Of Space festival will provide a 3-day build-up: an energetic, creative all-hands-on-deck environment where you construct, shape, decorate and create the festival site. You’ll work alongside artists, makers, builders, designers and the core crew in a wide range of tasks:

  • Building & assembling structures
  • Decorating & transforming spaces, (back)stages
  • Carrying, fixing, taping, moving, picking-up, … things
  • Cooking & helping to feed the crew twice a day
  • Creating the Out Of Space atmosphere, together.

No specific skills are required — just curiosity, an honest intention and a willingness to join the purpose.

Want to be in the heart of the action? You can also volunteer during the festival itself, in key roles like:

  • Hospitality (artist, crew & stage care)
  • Production support
  • Entrance & ticketing
  • Crowd guidance & site flow
  • Back and front-stage support
  • General “fire extinguishing“ across the festival

What comes up, must come down. All helping hands are more than welcome, the day after.

  • Daily meals & drinks during your help (lunch + diner)
  • Free access to the festival in exchange for your time (In case you already hold a ticket, you can offer it back to the community via ticketswap)
  • A chance to learn by doing — alongside artists, professionals, and fellow dreamers
  • A backstage experience of how a diy-festival really comes to life
  • A strong community & shared purpose

  • People who want to move, make, lift, laugh, help, and be part of something unusual

Main language: English & Dutch
Transport: Participants are expected to arrange their own in- and outbound transport to Stormkop.
